Driving license links

The Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency is an Executive Agency of the Department for Transport. It aims to provide better links between different forms of transport to give the travelling public more choice. It also promotes school and workplace travel schemes.

The Driving Standards Agency examines drivers and vehicles to ensure that they have reached a certain standard, and plays an important part in the government's overall efforts to improve road safety.

The Motor Schools Association keeps members informed of any matters of interest to them, represents the views of members to Government, its departments and agencies, and provides services that will be of benefit to members as well as setting standards of professional and ethical behaviour for teachers of driving.
